Overview

ENV205 is a first-in-class investigational therapy being developed by Kairos Pharma in partnership with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It is designed to address cancer-associated cachexia and chemotherapy drug resistance. Cachexia is a severe muscle-wasting syndrome characterized by involuntary weight loss, muscle atrophy, and systemic inflammation, affecting a significant portion of cancer patients and often limiting the effectiveness of oncology treatments. ENV205 aims to reverse resistance to chemotherapy and counteract muscle loss to improve patient strength and clinical outcomes. As of early 2025, the program is in the research and preclinical development phase. In February 2025, the development of ENV205 was supported by a $600,000 grant from the Department of Defense (DoD) Lung Cancer Research Program awarded to Cedars-Sinai.
