This combination therapy regimen is being investigated as a conversion therapy for patients with potentially resectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It consists of **envafolimab** (also referred to as envolizumab), a recombinant humanized single-domain antibody (nanobody) that acts as a PD-L1 inhibitor; **lenvatinib**, an oral multi-kinase inhibitor targeting VEGFR, FGFR, and other receptor tyrosine kinases; and **FOLFOX-HAIC**, which involves Hepatic Arterial Infusion Chemotherapy (HAIC) using the FOLFOX regimen (oxaliplatin, leucovorin, and 5-fluorouracil). The strategy combines localized high-dose chemotherapy delivered directly to the liver with systemic anti-angiogenic and immunotherapy to downstage tumors and improve the feasibility of surgical resection.
