Drug intelligence / Profile preview
envofolimab + BD0801 is an investigational combination therapy consisting of envofolimab, a humanized PD-L1 (programmed death-ligand 1) single-domain monoclonal antibody, and BD0801, a humanized anti-VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) monoclonal antibody. Envofolimab blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptor PD-1, restoring T-cell mediated immune responses against tumors, and is administered subcutaneously. BD0801 targets VEGF, inhibiting angiogenesis by blocking the VEGF/VEGFR2 signaling pathway, which suppresses tumor blood vessel growth and promotes cancer cell apoptosis. This combination is being investigated in advanced solid tumors, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma, for its synergistic antitumor and immunomodulatory effects[2][4][5].
