Overview

Envonalkib is a novel, potent small molecule inhibitor of anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) tyrosine kinase. It is designed for the treatment of ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), where it has demonstrated significant efficacy, including improved progression-free survival and central nervous system activity compared to first-generation ALK inhibitors such as crizotinib. Envonalkib acts by selectively inhibiting the ALK tyrosine kinase, thereby blocking downstream signaling pathways that drive tumor growth in cancers harboring ALK rearrangements. The drug was developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group and is marketed under the brand name Anluoqing in China for late-stage or metastatic NSCLC[2][4][5][6][7].
