Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ENX-205 is a small molecule precision neuroscience candidate being developed by Engrail Therapeutics for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and various mood disorders. It features a unique pharmacological profile, acting as an agonist at the serotonin 5-HT1A and 5-HT2A receptors while simultaneously serving as an antagonist at the dopamine D2 and D3 receptors. This multi-receptor targeting strategy is intended to address the complex underlying neurobiology of PTSD. ENX-205 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and receptor occupancy via positron emission tomography (PET) imaging in healthy volunteers.
