Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of enzalutamide, an androgen receptor inhibitor, and exemestane, an aromatase inhibitor. This combination targets both androgen and estrogen signaling pathways in hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. Due to enzalutamide's induction of CYP3A4, which reduces exemestane exposure by approximately 40-50%, the exemestane dose is typically doubled from 25 mg to 50 mg when used in this combination.
