EO2463 (also known as OMP65) is an innovative multi-peptide therapeutic vaccine developed by Enterome for the treatment of indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma (iNHL), including follicular lymphoma and marginal zone lymphoma. Part of Enterome's OncoMimics platform, the drug is composed of four synthetic peptides derived from the human gut microbiome that share high structural similarity with specific B-cell tumor-associated antigens: CD19, CD20, CD22, and CD37. The mechanism of action involves leveraging the immune system's pre-existing memory of these microbiome-derived peptides to trigger a potent and targeted cytotoxic T-cell response against malignant B cells expressing the corresponding antigens. EO2463 is typically administered via subcutaneous injection in combination with an adjuvant (such as Montanide ISA 51 VG) and is being evaluated in clinical trials both as a monotherapy and in combination with standard-of-care agents like rituximab or pembrolizumab to enhance anti-tumor efficacy.
