Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Eolo40 is a small molecule inhibitor of the NF-kB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells) pathway, currently in preclinical development by Eolo Pharma. NF-kB is a key transcription factor involved in inflammatory and immune responses; its dysregulation is linked to neuroinflammation and neuronal death in neurodegenerative diseases. Eolo40 is being investigated for the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer's disease, aiming to mitigate neuroinflammatory processes that contribute to disease progression.
