EP-105

EP-105 is an investigational, long-acting anesthetic formulation developed by Eupraxia Pharmaceuticals for the management of post-surgical pain. The drug utilizes Eupraxia's proprietary Diffusphere™ technology, which involves encapsulating a small molecule active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) within a microns-thin polymer membrane to facilitate sustained, local drug delivery. This platform is designed to provide prolonged therapeutic concentrations at the surgical site while minimizing systemic exposure and associated side effects. Although the program demonstrated preclinical evidence of efficacy, development was paused by the sponsor to prioritize other clinical-stage assets, such as EP-104IAR for osteoarthritis pain.
