Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EP004 is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody that selectively inhibits tissue factor (TF)-dependent intracellular signaling. It is designed to reduce inflammation by targeting tissue factor, a key mediator of innate immune activity and coagulation involved in inflammation, chemotaxis, and hemostasis across multiple immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs) such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, lupus, and certain vasculitides. EP004 aims to decrease pro-inflammatory cytokines and chemokines without interfering with the hemostasis-related functions of the TF pathway. The drug was initially developed by Iconic Therapeutics and is now under development by Endpoint Health using a precision AI platform to identify responders across autoimmune indications. It is currently completing IND-enabling studies with an expected IND submission in 2023[2][3].
