Drug intelligence / Profile preview
EP0089 is a first-in-class next-generation immunotherapy monoclonal antibody targeting CNTN4 (Contactin-4), a recently discovered immune checkpoint protein highly expressed in a wide range of solid tumors. By blocking the interaction between CNTN4 and APP on T cells, EP0089 aims to promote tumor cell killing and overcome resistance seen with conventional checkpoint inhibitors. The drug was originally discovered by Genome & Company and is being developed globally by Ellipses Pharma. It represents a novel approach in immuno-oncology for patients with cancers that respond poorly to existing therapies[4][5].
