Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Epaloritovorelimab (JS018) is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that acts as an **interleukin-15 (IL-15) agonist**. Developed by Junshi Biosciences, it is designed to treat advanced solid tumors by specifically binding to IL-15 and enhancing its biological activity, thereby stimulating the proliferation and activation of natural killer (NK) cells and effector CD8+ T cells. Unlike traditional IL-15 agonists that are cytokine-receptor complexes, epaloritovorelimab is a full-length antibody that modulates the IL-15 signaling pathway to promote anti-tumor immune responses. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials, including combinations with immune checkpoint inhibitors like toripalimab (anti-PD-1) and other therapies for metastatic colorectal cancer and other solid tumors.
