Overview

EPC-001 is an investigational **CD19/CD22 dual-targeting chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy** developed by **Elpis Biopharmaceuticals** for the treatment of **B-cell malignancies**. It engineers patient-derived T cells to express CARs that simultaneously target CD19 and CD22 antigens on malignant B cells, enabling precise tumor cell recognition, activation of cytotoxic T-cell responses, and potential eradication of cancer cells while sparing healthy cells. The therapy is being advanced toward clinical studies for relapsed/refractory or treatment-naive B-cell lymphomas and leukemias, leveraging dual targeting to mitigate antigen escape common in single-target CAR-T approaches[3][9].
