Eperisone + aceclofenac is a fixed-dose combination of two pharmaceutical agents used primarily for the management of pain associated with muscle spasms, such as those occurring in acute low back pain, neck pain, musculoskeletal injuries (sprains and strains), myofascial pain syndrome, and fibromyalgia[1][2][4][7]. Eperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant that works by relaxing skeletal muscles through action on the brain and spinal cord centers. It also relaxes vascular smooth muscles and improves blood circulation[1][2]. Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX), particularly COX‑2, thereby reducing prostaglandin synthesis responsible for inflammation and pain[6]. The combination provides both analgesic (pain relief) and antispasmodic effects to improve mobility in patients with painful muscle conditions.
