Overview

EPI-011 is a synthetic small molecule drug candidate developed by Epibiotech for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced alopecia (CIA). The compound is designed to exert anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects to prevent or mitigate hair loss resulting from chemotherapy. Currently in the preclinical stage, EPI-011 represents a pharmacological approach to protecting hair follicles from the damage typically induced by cytotoxic agents.
