EPI-600

EPI-600 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by EpiBiologics. It is designed to target c-KIT (also known as CD117 or Mast/stem cell growth factor receptor Kit), a receptor tyrosine kinase that is frequently mutated or overexpressed in several types of cancer, most notably gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST). By utilizing a monoclonal antibody to selectively bind to c-KIT on the surface of tumor cells, EPI-600 is intended to internalize and deliver a potent cytotoxic payload directly into the malignant cells. This targeted approach aims to maximize anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity. The program is currently being evaluated for the treatment of GIST and other c-KIT-expressing solid tumors.
