Overview

EPI-628 is an antibody-based degrader antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by EpiBiologics. It specifically targets the c-Met (hepatocyte growth factor receptor) protein, which is frequently overexpressed or mutated in various solid tumors. Utilizing the EpiTAC platform, EPI-628 is designed to both induce the degradation of the c-Met receptor and deliver a potent cytotoxic payload directly to cancer cells. This dual mechanism of action aims to overcome resistance associated with traditional c-Met inhibitors and standard ADCs. The drug is currently in IND-enabling studies for the treatment of colorectal cancer (CRC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and gastric cancer.
