Overview

**epi-reevesioside F** is a natural small molecule type A cardenolide, isolated from plants of the Reevesia genus. It exhibits potent cytotoxic activity against various cancer cell lines and acts primarily as a Na+/K+-ATPase inhibitor, leading to cytosolic acidification, activation of Bak, and induction of apoptosis in tumor cells, including glioblastoma[8][6]. It is not an approved pharmaceutical agent and has been investigated preclinically for its antitumor effects.
