**Epidermal growth factor-dextran-technetium-99m** is an experimental EGFR-targeted radiopharmaceutical consisting of epidermal growth factor covalently coupled to dextran and labeled with technetium-99m. The EGF moiety binds the epidermal growth factor receptor, which is frequently overexpressed in urothelial bladder carcinoma, while the dextran carrier prolongs peptide residence time and enables radionuclide labeling. It was studied as an intravesical targeting agent in superficial bladder cancer and in preclinical xenograft models, with technetium-99m used primarily as a diagnostic and biodistribution tracer; therapeutic applications were proposed using alternative therapeutic radionuclides.
