Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LH-2103 is an investigational small-molecule combination drug candidate developed by Jiangsu Lianhuan Pharmaceutical for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It is a fixed-dose combination of epristeride, a steroid 5-alpha reductase 2 (SRD5A2) inhibitor, and silodosin, an alpha-1A adrenergic receptor (ADRA1A) antagonist. By combining these two active ingredients, LH-2103 aims to address both the hormonal and muscular components of BPH, reducing prostate volume and relieving bladder outlet obstruction. The drug is formulated as an oral capsule and has completed Phase 1 clinical trials in China.
