Overview

EPS-201 is a novel IgE-based monoclonal antibody immunotherapeutic targeting HER2-positive solid tumors, designed to exploit the potent effector functions of IgE to drive anti-tumor immune responses. It antagonizes the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) on tumor cells while engaging IgE receptors on immune effector cells such as mast cells, eosinophils, and macrophages, with the aim of promoting tumor cell killing in HER2-expressing cancers that may be resistant or insufficiently responsive to existing IgG-based HER2 therapies.[1][3] Originally developed at King’s College London and being advanced by Epsilogen, EPS-201 remains in early-stage development as an oncology biologic for HER2-positive solid tumors, including breast and other HER2-driven malignancies.[1][3]
