Overview
Equine CG superagonist is a recombinant protein analog of equine chorionic gonadotropin (eCG) developed by Trophogen for veterinary use. It is designed to act as a superagonist of the choriogonadotropin/luteinizing hormone (CG/LH) receptor, providing enhanced potency and more consistent biological activity compared to traditional serum-derived gonadotropins. The primary indication for this agent is estrus synchronization in pigs and other livestock species, where it helps regulate reproductive cycling.
