Overview

Equine CG superagonist is a recombinant protein analog of equine chorionic gonadotropin (eCG) developed by Trophogen for veterinary use. It is designed to act as a superagonist of the choriogonadotropin/luteinizing hormone (CG/LH) receptor, providing enhanced potency and more consistent biological activity compared to traditional serum-derived gonadotropins. The primary indication for this agent is estrus synchronization in pigs and other livestock species, where it helps regulate reproductive cycling. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
