**Equine Gastrafate** is a patented veterinary oral suspension formulated specifically for horses and foals, featuring a highly cross-linked polyanionic saccharide mucilage derived from naturally occurring polysaccharides like *Ulmus fulva* (slippery elm USP), combined with xanthan gum, sucrose, calcium carbonate, magnesium aluminum hydroxide, and other excipients.
