Equisulin M

**Equisulin M** is a biphasic insulin injection used for the treatment of **type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus** in adults and children. It is a fixed-dose combination of **human insulin** (regular, short-acting) and **insulin isophane** (NPH, intermediate-acting), available in various ratios such as 30/70, 30/40, 50/50, typically at concentrations of 40 IU/ml or 100 IU/ml in vials, cartridges, or disposable pens. The regular insulin component provides rapid onset (within 30 minutes) for postprandial glucose control, while the isophane component offers prolonged basal coverage.
