Overview
Er Ding Granules (二丁颗粒) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) product developed and marketed by Pharmesis International, specifically through its subsidiary Sichuan Longsheng Pharmaceutical. The formulation is designed to "clear heat and detoxify" (Qing Re Jie Du) and is commonly used to treat inflammatory conditions such as sore throat, mastitis, boils, and carbuncles. The standard composition includes extracts from four medicinal herbs: *Viola yedoensis* (Zihua Diding), *Lobelia chinensis* (Banbianlian), *Taraxacum mongolicum* (Pugongying), and *Euphorbia humifusa* (Diji). It is available as an over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription granule for oral administration.
