Era-107 is a lead compound developed by EraCal Therapeutics, a spinout from Harvard and the University of Zurich. It is an appetite suppressant primarily indicated for obesity. The drug was discovered using EraCal's zebrafish-based phenotypic drug discovery platform and was gearing up for first-in-human trials. Novo Nordisk has partnered with EraCal Therapeutics to identify novel drug targets for obesity, leveraging EraCal's platform to expand Novo Nordisk's obesity pipeline.
