Ergoferon

Ergoferon is an antiviral, immunomodulatory, antihistamine, and anti-inflammatory pharmaceutical drug indicated for the treatment of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI), as well as acute intestinal infections of viral etiology in adults and children over 6 months old. It is a biotechnological product based on affinity-purified antibodies to interferon gamma (IFN-γ), CD4, and histamine. These components work synergistically to stimulate endogenous IFN-γ production, regulate CD4 cell activity, reduce inflammation in the airways, modulate immune response, and alleviate symptoms such as nasal congestion, coughing, sneezing, and fever. Clinical studies have shown that Ergoferon reduces symptom severity in ARI/ARVI patients and lowers the incidence of complications requiring antibiotics. The drug has demonstrated efficacy comparable to oseltamivir for influenza A/B with a favorable safety profile[1][2][4][5][6].
