Eribulin + evexomostat is an investigational combination therapy being studied for the treatment of metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) in patients with metabolic dysfunction such as obesity or insulin resistance. Eribulin is a microtubule dynamics inhibitor and standard chemotherapy agent approved for metastatic breast cancer. Evexomostat (SDX-7320) is a novel polymer–drug conjugate of a methionine aminopeptidase 2 (MetAP2) inhibitor designed to inhibit tumor growth and metastasis while also improving metabolic disorders by restoring insulin sensitivity. The combination aims to address both the oncologic and metabolic aspects of TNBC progression in this patient population[1][3][4][5][6][9][10].
