Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The ERIPTO Protocol is a combination regenerative therapy developed by the Affinity Health Research Institute for the treatment of post-traumatic osteoarthritis of the knee. It consists of an intra-articular injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid (HA), and bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC). PRP provides growth factors to stimulate tissue repair, HA acts as a lubricant and shock absorber within the joint, and BMAC provides a source of mesenchymal stem cells and anti-inflammatory cytokines. The protocol aims to delay or prevent the progression of osteoarthritis following joint injury by promoting cartilage health and reducing inflammation.
