Overview

ErNPs@POL6326 is a CXCR4-targeted near-infrared-IIb (NIR-IIb) fluorescent rare-earth nanoprobe developed for the in vivo real-time detection of sentinel lymph node (SLN) metastasis in breast cancer. The probe consists of erbium-doped rare-earth nanoparticles (ErNPs) with bright down-conversion fluorescence at 1,556 nm, covalently conjugated with the CXCR4 peptide antagonist balixafortide (POL6326). Following subcutaneous administration, ErNPs@POL6326 drains into the SLNs and specifically targets metastatic breast cancer cells via CXCR4-mediated endocytosis, enabling noninvasive, real-time, and dynamic evaluation of lymph node metastasis status.
