Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Eroxon Intense is a topical gel developed by Futura Medical for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. As a stronger formulation of the original Eroxon (MED3000), it is designed to provide a more intense sensory experience to facilitate the achievement of an erection. The gel operates via a unique evaporative mode of action: upon application to the glans penis, volatile components evaporate rapidly, creating a sequence of cooling and recovery warming. This rapid temperature shift stimulates thermoreceptors (nerve sensors) in the glans, which in turn triggers the local release of nitric oxide. The resulting vasodilation and smooth muscle relaxation in the penis lead to increased blood flow and an erection, typically within ten minutes. Classified as a medical device, Eroxon Intense is intended for over-the-counter use and has shown high efficacy and satisfaction rates in clinical trials.
