**ErVac01** is an investigational, off-the-shelf heterologous viral-vector therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by ErVimmune. It encodes a multi-epitope set of tumor-associated antigens derived from human endogenous retroviruses, including HERV-K HML-2 Gag-derived epitopes, with adenovirus used for priming and modified vaccinia Ankara for boosting. The program is designed to induce antigen-specific cytotoxic CD8-positive T-cell responses against tumor cells presenting these HERV-derived epitopes while sparing normal cells, and is being advanced for cold tumors, initially triple-negative breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
