Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ES-2301 is a recombinant human acidic fibroblast growth factor (rhFGF1) biologic developed by Eusol Biotech. It is designed to promote nerve regeneration and tissue repair by acting as an agonist for fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR). The drug is primarily being investigated for the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), where it is administered via local injection to the affected area. ES-2301 has completed Phase 2 clinical evaluation for this indication and is closely related to the compound ES135, which has been studied for spinal cord injury.
