Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ES102 + toripalimab** is a combination therapy under clinical investigation for advanced solid tumors and non-small cell lung cancer. ES102 is a hexavalent agonistic antibody targeting OX40, designed to activate and enhance the anti-tumor immune response by stimulating T-cell activity. Its unique design allows potent activation in the absence of exogenous cross-linking, leading to superior immune activation compared to conventional bivalent OX40 antibodies. Toripalimab is an anti-PD1 monoclonal antibody that blocks the interaction between PD-1 on T cells and PD-L1, releasing inhibitory brakes on the immune system, thereby enabling better recognition and destruction of cancer cells. The combination aims for a synergistic effect by simultaneously stimulating T cells (OX40 agonism) and preventing immune escape (PD-1 blockade). It is being developed and clinically tested by Elpiscience Biopharma in collaboration with Junshi Biosciences, with trials ongoing in China for patients with advanced solid tumors and NSCLC[1][3][5].
