Overview

ES302 is a preclinical-stage bispecific antibody developed by Elpiscience for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It simultaneously targets tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A) and the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23p19). By blocking these two distinct inflammatory pathways, ES302 aims to provide enhanced therapeutic efficacy compared to monotherapies targeting either pathway alone. TL1A is involved in mucosal inflammation and fibrosis, while IL-23 is a key driver of the Th17 response, both of which are central to the pathogenesis of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
