Overview
Escócia association is a combination pharmaceutical drug developed by EMS for the treatment of acute pain. It is composed of Ketorolac Tromethamine, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes to reduce prostaglandin synthesis, and Scopolamine, a muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist that blocks acetylcholine activity. This dual mechanism aims to provide effective analgesia and potentially other effects relevant to pain management.
