Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of four distinct selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) that are typically prescribed individually, not as a fixed-dose combination product. Each medication works by inhibiting serotonin reuptake in the brain but has unique pharmacological properties. Escitalopram is highly selective with potential allosteric binding at SERT, fluoxetine has a long half-life, paroxetine has anticholinergic properties, and sertraline has additional dopamine transporter inhibitory effects.
