This is a combination of five antidepressant medications—escitalopram, paroxetine, bupropion, venlafaxine, and sertraline. All are oral small molecule pharmaceuticals used primarily in the treatment of major depressive disorder and other mood or anxiety disorders. Escitalopram, paroxetine, and sertraline are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), which increase synaptic serotonin by inhibiting its reuptake into presynaptic neurons.
