Overview

ESG206 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the B-cell activating factor receptor (BAFFR; also known as tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13C or TNFRSF13C). It has been glycoengineered to enhance antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) effects. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies, including cases resistant to CD19 or CD20-targeted therapies such as rituximab and ibrutinib. Preclinical studies have demonstrated antitumor activity in various malignant B cell disease models. Clinical development includes phase I/II trials for indications such as B-cell lymphoma and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura[1][2][3][4].
