ESG406 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) under development for the treatment of solid tumors. It is being developed by Shanghai Escugen Biotechnology and was originally initiated by Shanghai Shijian Biotechnology. The drug is classified as an antineoplastic agent and immunoconjugate, specifically a monoclonal antibody-drug conjugate. As of May 2025, its mechanism of action has not been publicly defined or disclosed. The highest development phase reached is preclinical in China, with a Phase I clinical trial planned to start in June 2025 for adults with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors[1][2][3][4][5].
