ESG412

ESG412 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) currently under development by Shanghai Escugen Biotechnology for the treatment of solid tumors. As a bispecific ADC, it is engineered to simultaneously recognize and bind to two distinct tumor-associated antigens, a strategy intended to improve tumor selectivity, enhance internalization, and potentially overcome resistance mechanisms associated with monospecific therapies. Once the ADC binds to the target antigens on the cancer cell surface, it is internalized via endocytosis, leading to the intracellular release of a cytotoxic payload that induces cell death. While the specific molecular targets and the identity of the payload remain confidential, the drug represents part of Escugen's broader pipeline of next-generation ADC therapeutics.
