Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Esketamine + sulfentanil + remifentanil is a combination of three pharmaceutical agents used primarily in anesthesia and analgesia. Esketamine is an NMDA receptor antagonist with both analgesic and antidepressant properties, often used for its rapid-acting effects on pain and mood. Sufentanil and remifentanil are potent synthetic opioid agonists at the mu-opioid receptor, providing strong analgesia during surgical procedures or intensive care. This combination may be considered for multimodal anesthesia or advanced pain management strategies, leveraging the synergistic effects of NMDA antagonism (esketamine) to reduce opioid requirements (sufentanil, remifentanil), improve hemodynamic stability, minimize tolerance development, and enhance postoperative recovery.
