Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Essential Wholesale Muscle Gel is a topical, over-the-counter gel designed for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains in muscles and joints. It provides both cooling and warming sensations through its primary active ingredients, menthol (a counterirritant that produces a cooling effect) and capsicum (which provides warmth), as well as camphor oil. The product also contains a blend of essential oils such as eucalyptus, black pepper, chamomile, ginger root oil, peppermint oil, rosemary leaf oil, spearmint oil, wild oregano oil, among others. The mechanism of action is primarily local counterirritation—menthol activates cold receptors in the skin while capsicum stimulates heat receptors—distracting from deeper musculoskeletal pain signals. This gel is intended for external use only to soothe sore muscles after exercise or physical activity[1][6].
