EST-002 is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate being developed by Estrenue for the treatment of rosacea associated with a hormonal etiology. The drug is designed for localized delivery using Estrenue's proprietary Foroderm microneedle delivery platform, which utilizes elongated microparticles to facilitate transdermal or intradermal delivery of active ingredients. While the specific active ingredient and molecular target of EST-002 remain undisclosed, the program is designed to address the documented hormonal component of rosacea.
