Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination drug consisting of four active ingredients: - **Estradiol** (a natural estrogen steroid hormone) - **Medroxyprogesterone** (a synthetic progestin) - **Hydrocortisone** (a glucocorticoid corticosteroid) - **Growth hormone** (typically refers to recombinant human growth hormone, somatropin) Each component has distinct mechanisms and indications: - Estradiol and medroxyprogesterone are commonly combined for menopausal hormone therapy, contraception, or management of gynecological disorders. Estradiol acts as an agonist at the estrogen receptor, while medroxyprogesterone acts as an agonist at the progesterone receptor[1][2][3][4][5]. - Hydrocortisone is a glucocorticoid that modulates inflammation and immune responses by acting on the glucocorticoid receptor. - Growth hormone stimulates growth and cell reproduction via the growth hormone receptor. There is no evidence in current medical literature or regulatory databases for a marketed pharmaceutical product containing all four agents together in one formulation. Each ingredient is approved individually or in dual/triple combinations for specific indications but not as this quadruple combination.
