ET-970

ET-970 (CLEAR CAR-T cell injection) is an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy engineered to target CD70. Developed by the Chinese PLA General Hospital, it is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials for the treatment of patients with unresectable or metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). CD70 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily that is constitutively expressed in ccRCC but has restricted expression in healthy tissues, providing a specific target for CAR-T intervention. As an allogeneic "off-the-shelf" product, ET-970 is engineered from healthy donor T cells, aiming to overcome the manufacturing challenges and time constraints associated with autologous CAR-T therapies.
