ET140203 is an investigational autologous T-cell therapy developed by Eureka Therapeutics for the treatment of liver cancers, including hepatoblastoma, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and hepatocellular neoplasm not otherwise specified (HCN-NOS). The therapy involves collecting a patient's own T cells and engineering them to express Eureka's proprietary ARTEMIS cell receptor. These modified T cells are further engineered to express a T-cell receptor–mimic antibody that specifically targets the alpha-fetoprotein peptide/Human leukocyte antigen A2 complex present on liver cancer cells. This design enables the engineered T cells to recognize and kill AFP+/HLA-A2+ cancer cells via natural TCR signaling pathways, with additional Glypican 3-guided co-stimulation enhancing tumor infiltration. ET140203 is currently being evaluated in phase 1/2 clinical trials in both adult and pediatric populations with relapsed or refractory disease[1][5][6][7][8].
