ET190L1-ARTEMIS is an autologous engineered T-cell therapy developed by Eureka Therapeutics in collaboration with the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University. It utilizes Eureka's proprietary ARTEMIS T-cell receptor platform and a human anti-CD19 antibody to target CD19-positive malignancies, including B-cell lymphoma and B-cell leukemia. Unlike traditional Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies, the ARTEMIS platform is designed to functionally match the potency of CAR-T cells while triggering significantly less cytokine release upon target engagement, potentially reducing the risk of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity. The therapy involves transducing a patient's T cells with a lentiviral vector encoding the anti-CD19 ARTEMIS expression construct, which allows the engineered cells to recognize and eliminate CD19-expressing B-cell cancer cells.
