Overview

ET401 is an investigational gene therapy developed by Expression Therapeutics for the treatment of somatostatin receptor 2 (SSTR2)-positive neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). The therapy is designed to target SSTR2, a G-protein coupled receptor that is highly expressed in various neuroendocrine malignancies and serves as a well-validated target for both imaging and therapy. While specific details regarding the viral vector or the therapeutic payload have not been fully disclosed, the program aims to leverage gene therapy to address the needs of patients with SSTR2-expressing tumors. ET401 is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development.
