Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ETB-001 is an investigational injectable biologic being developed by Etienna Bio for regenerative and aesthetic applications. It combines a patient's own autologous adipose-derived progenitor cells with a proprietary extracellular matrix scaffold (an adipose-derived hydrogel matrix) to restore living soft tissue. The technology was licensed from UMass Chan Medical School. Its primary indication is addressing soft tissue volume loss in the back of the hands, with potential future applications in other areas of the body. ETB-001 is reviewed under the FDA's Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) as a cell-based regenerative aesthetics product. As of September 2026, it has completed an FDA INTERACT meeting and is preparing for an Investigational New Drug (IND) application.
